When you call us with a "warm lead" we will call the client within 24 hours and will report to you that very day the status of the account. When we close the deal, the referring salesperson or technician will be paid a $50.00 referral fee by First Impression, Inc.

Q: How do I increase awareness of your on-hold service?

A: Don't wait for your customers to ask about music/message on hold. Instead, be proactive and you suggest music/message on hold to THEM. Say something like this: "We're working with a great on-hold company, and their prices are very reasonable. Would you like me to have them give you call?"

Q : What is a lead?

A: A typical scenario is when you the telephone vendor mention our service to your customer, or the customer asks you about on-hold productions. You tell them you've got a great on-hold company you're working with and they're very affordable. Then you ask the customer if it would be O.K. if someone from First Impression could call them. Once the client says "sure" or "YES". You call or email us with the lead info. We take it from there.

A: Hey, call ABC construction, they've got nothing on-hold, they may want your service?

Q : How much do I get paid when a referral becomes a customer?

A: $50.00

Q : When do I get paid?

A: We always pay the telephone vendor from our initial deposit. So you never have to wait until we get all our money to get your referral fee.

Q : How much does your on-hold service cost?

A: Always tell the client that advertising programs start under $300. It depends on how many commercials they want us to write and produce. And we split this cost in 2 payments making it affordable for everyone.

Q : What kind of system do you use?

A: Typically, our clients purchase an inexpensive off the shelf CD Boom box Player. We do not sell equipment. However, if client has the budget for "both" the on-hold productions and a digital player (memory chip) they usually purchase the player from you the telephone vendor.

Q : Tell me about your service?

A: It's simple. We offer two types of service. First Licensed Music on hold for when the client only wants "music only" with no advertising messages. They choose the music from our extensive library. And second by far our most popular service is On-Hold advertising. Where we combine licensed music with custom scripted "radio-style" commercials. Think of a commercial as a: 45 second radio spot.

Q : Once I get the customer interested in your service, should I have them call you, or should I tell them that you would call them?

A: Great question! Sometimes clients do call us after you spoke with them and gave them the First Impression post card. But most of the time we call them, because you asked them if it was all right for your on-hold company to call them.

Q : Are you guys any good at sales?

A: You better believe it! We have an extremely high closing ratio. That's because of 3 things. 1) We often make a spec spot for your referral so they get to try it before the buy it. 2) Our low pricing coupled with a high quality service. 3) Because of our follow up.

Q : This sounds like a no brainer. How do we get started?

A: You can start referring customers right away. But to make it even easier on you we've created full color glossy postcards for you to hand out to all your customers. These postcards really work, and they're proven to work much better than handing out our business cards.

1 - NEXT SALES MEETING : This is SO IMPORTANT. Let us call in on your speakerphone during your next sales meeting, and we'll do a proper introduction of our company, our services, and how easy this partnership works. 2 - Don't wait for a customer to bring up Music/message on-hold. You bring it up.

3 - Put a blurb in your message window on your invoices. "Did you know we now offer Music/Message on-hold productions? It's more affordable than you think. Give us a call today!"

4 - Don't just limit your referrals from your sales people , your techs can use some extra cash too, even your administrative personnel. Sometimes techs refer more than salespeople!

5 - Send out a memo to all departments informing everyone of your new Value Added Service.
